My quote comes from Walking Disaster page 59.
America and Abby are best friends who are staying with Shepley and Travis for a few days because the boilers broke down in their dorms and they needed their hot showers. It is a good excuse for America to be with her boyfriend but Travis and Abby had only just met.
Bearing in mind, Walking Disaster is told from Travis' point of view...well he is really falling for Abby.
"Night, Abby," America called from Shepley's room.
"Night, Mare."
I had to laugh. Nightmare was right. Shepley's girlfriend had introduced me to my very own form of crack. I couldn't get enough, and I didn't want to quit. Even though I couldn't call it anything but an addiction, I didn't dare sample even a crumb. I only kept her close, feeling better just knowing she was around. There was no hope for me.

Good pick from Travis POV. I liked both novels but for me it was the writing style that I did not love. I loved that Travis was over jealous protective and plot.
