Z is for Zut Alors!

"Zut Alors" is a french expression of annoyance that basically means "darn it". For example, when you lose your keys, you say "zut alors" or spill wine on your shirt then it's simply "Zut!" I will end this Alphabet Challenge with the same dissatisfaction.

ZUT!

X is for eXodus

Exodus 1:13: So they made the people of Israel serve with rigor,

You know the story right? How Moses was sent on a mission from God to tell Pharoah King of Egypt to 'Let My People Go'? God's people being the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob aka the children of Israel.
If you've ever watched the movie with Charleton Heston, The Ten Commandments, then you have a general idea of what the Exodus is about or maybe it was Prince of Egypt that reminds you of the awesome Trek of the Israelites through the wilderness?
Regardless, Moses grew up in the House of Pharaoh but upon learning his roots from a slave woman, he was called to search out the God of Israel who gave him 10 Laws to live by on a stone tablet and Moses was forever deemed holy by the Lord.

Exodus 3:2: And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and lo, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.

He was Israel's leader that led them out of Egypt into the Promised Land. Oh Yeah, Great and Mighty is God who has shown His mighty deeds and miraculous wonders in the journey through the desert, but the people rebelled against everything because they could not handle God's Way. Sin turned them wicked. So God promised to put an end to sin once and for all by sacrificing His own Son for us so that we might have everlasting life, mercy and forgiveness by being redeemed through the Cross if only we believed in His Son Jesus Christ. Numerous occasions for that but it was only by God's grace that people could even believe and understand who Jesus Christ really was *sigh. Do you think by now we could all exclaim like Peter: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”?

W is for ...Walking with God

#AtoZChallenge 2020 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter W

I've been reading the Bible more lately and I want to keep a bible journal 1. because you can get creative 2. It is time well spent 3. I love the Word of God. So I found following a schedule helps. I could read Genesis to Revelation like I do with any normal book but the bible isn't normal and I prefer meditating on scripture and cross-referencing to get a better understanding of it, and besides I find more joy in studying the Bible. There is so much to learn in one bible verse that I feel I will miss out and forget what I've read by reading it straight through. Idk. Here is a plan to get me Walking with God all month.

"{She} is like a tree planted by streams of water
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever {she} does prospers." Psalm 1:3, NIV

V is for Villa

#AtoZChallenge 2020 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter V

Vaguely do I remember our trip to Algiers, but some things just stood out- like the Villa we lived in and the hotel in Paris we stayed at overnight. I couldn’t sleep. Can you blame me? A new country, a different bed, new jammies, and jet lag. It was all too overwhelming for me. I think my aunt and my mother were so tired of hearing me and my noisy cousins they had to tell us to go to bed more than once. I was only 5, but I remember looking out the window of the plane exclaiming “I see God!” but all I saw were clouds and blue sky.
For me, it was an exciting adventure, but to my mother, a vexing experience! If she had not pointed out the vermin such as mice and cockroaches, I would have never realized any of that. Of course, I had never seen a mouse or a cockroach before. It was a beautiful vacation Villa in my opinion! The whitewashed facade was a few steps away from the Mediterranean in a tourist center. We adopted a cat, Minou, who took care of the rodent problem and the cockroaches soon left because they were being overrun by humans, that, or my mom poisoned them all. We soon found out we had lots of company: with the frogs croaking and the crickets chirping.
Our Villa had a lovely little kitchen garden; a terrace and was built like a horseshoe; on one end a bedroom and a bathroom with a separate room for the toilet. Then, another big area where my mother decided to put four bunk beds . Close to that was the front door entrance leading to the kitchen, and around the other end, we had a living room with windows opening on to a big veranda. [here I am on the veranda with one of Minous litter ] There was a cool firepit outside where the bugs gathered at night and a yard wrapping around the entire villa. The thing I didn't like was the grass. It was camel grass; big and chunky, ugly camel grass. It stained your clothes, but the surroundings were waiting to be explored and we couldn’t wait to go to the beach. I spent the majority of the time outside. And “all was right in the world.”

U is for USB cables

#AtoZChallenge 2020 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter U

I love my iPod Shuffle. I bought it so that I can listen to audiobooks when I'm not on my computer, except I haven't used it because it wasn't appearing on iTunes when I connected it to the computer. I spent most of the afternoon uninstalling and reinstalling Itunes thinking it was a problem with their software!

Here's what I needed to do to resolve that problem:

Verify that you have firmly inserted the USB cable into the headset jack on your iPod shuffle!
:/ The cable should be flush against the iPod, with no visible gap. Ok. You can laugh now.
The image below on the left is an example of an iPod shuffle with a partially inserted cable. On the right is an iPod shuffle with the cable fully inserted and flush.

R is for Remember Me

#AtoZChallenge 2020 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter R

We celebrate the Eucharist in memory of Jesus Christ, our Passover and our lasting peace recalling the words and actions of Jesus at the Last Supper.

Before he was given up to death, a death he freely accepted, he took bread and gave You (the Father) thanks, He broke the bread, gave it to his disciples, and said:
Take this, all of you, and eat it; this is my body which will be given up for you. When the supper was ended, he took the cup. Again he gave You thanks and praise, gave the cup to his disciples, and said:
Take this, all of you, and drink from it; this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me.

Q is for ...Quarantine

I published a post 5 years ago about What to do in Quarantine. I think it qualifies aptly for the threat of COVID-19. It is supposed to be taken in jest and I apologize if it offends anyone.

A contagious disease requires you to be put into quarantine for a whole month (don’t worry, you get well by the time you’re free to go!). How would you spend your time in isolation?
I could read Outlander (a massive set of books) but honestly if I was quarantined from a type of disease so the risk of infecting others is contained, what else might I be allowed to do? Watch movies over and over again? I don't recall such procedures ever happening in my lifetime. It was only mandatory to get immunized every year, and more times than I could shake a stick at, when our family travelled overseas, there and back, twice. Since I know nothing about what protocol for quarantine is, other than staying locked up for a certain period of time, and is that an individual thing? Are you locked up in the comforts of your own home? or is it that groups of people are taken to some facility?

In any case,  I would take up knitting like Old Nan from Game of Thrones and knit me a woolly blanket. I'd have the time to learn how to bind and cast off. I also would knit a pair of comfortable slippers just like the ones shown in the picture.
UPDATE: Instead I bought me a pair of Cozy Slipper Socks. Sometimes I feel cut off from the world as it is but I manage. Getting past the boredom is a bit of a challenge but if your willing to keep yourself from atrophy then you will find something to do. My main concern is would I be given 3 square meals a day? Because if not I think I would go little nuts. Take away the pleasures- and the pain is much worse. In the words of Carly Simon: "I haven't got time for the pain"

O is for ...October

#AtoZChallenge 2020 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter O
I was born in the month of October.
I love October.
Besides Halloween, it is when the world began, according to the timeline found in Good Omens.
Precisely on Sunday, October 21, 4004 B.C. at 9:13 a.m. What if that were even approximate? All the more reason to love October.
Seriously though if you haven't seen Good Omens I recommend that you do.
It is funny and features Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen!
I mean if you love Queen you will absolutely love it.

Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch
The actual film involves an eleven-year-old boy (the anti-christ) whom Aziraphale (good angel) and Crowley (fallen angel) are in search of. A nun in a convent got “the baby” mixed up and gave it to the wrong parents. I loved the garden of Eden depicted in the middle of the desert and The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter and the Ritz and the crepes and Crowley’s charming car and wit and the fact that it is co-written by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I don’t need to convince you to watch it but I dare you.

N is for ...Novena

#AtoZChallenge 2020 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter N

A novena in the Roman Catholic Church is special private or public prayers on nine successive days. One of the Church’s most popular novenas is the Novena to the Divine Mercy, which starts on Good Friday and ends on Mercy Sunday. It has been instituted in the Catholic Church at the request of Jesus to St. Faustina. We are on the 7th Day of The Divine Mercy Novena in which I pray the Chaplet at 3 o'clock every day.

Novena of Confidence to the Sacred Heart.
“O Lord, Jesus Christ
To Your Most Sacred Heart,
I confide this intention ...
(Here mention your request)
Only look upon me
Then do what Your Heart inspires ...
Let Your Sacred Heart decide ...
I count on it ... I trust in It ...
I throw myself on Its mercy ...
Lord Jesus! You will not fail me.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in Thee.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I believe in
Thy love for me.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy Kingdom Come.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I have asked for
many favours, but I earnestly implore this
one. Take it, place it in Thy Sacred Heart.
When the Eternal Father sees it covered with
Thy Precious Blood, He will not refuse it.
It will no longer be my prayer but Thine, O Jesus.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I place my trust in Thee.
Let me never be confounded. Amen.”

A letter from 2 John verse 5. "And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another

I watched Paul: Apostle of Christ last night. Jim Caviezel plays St. Luke and James Faulkner plays St. Paul and I highly recommend you watch it if you haven't seen it yet. I loved Jim Caviezel's performance in both The Count of Monte Cristo and The Passion. Just before he got the leading role as Edmond Dantes he had been to Medugorje and consecrated his life to Mary, the Mother of God. In one scene of The Count of Monte Cristo, you can see a picture of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the wall. If you don't know about Medugorje, it is here where the Mother of God appeared to 6 visionaries and is still appearing to one of them. Anyway. Jim Caviezel gives credit to Mary for his acting success.
In 2000, when he was starring in The Count of Monte Cristo and feeling very unsure about his ability to carry the film, Caviezel felt the intercession of Mary again when his director showed him a ceiling fresco of the Immaculate Conception. “It was a sign for me,” he said. “I am proud to say that I shared some screen time with the Mother of God.”

Coronavirus allegedly began among a colony of bats that worked its way in the Huanan Seafood Market. See Tracking down the Origins of the Wuhan Coronavirus. As early as December 2019 the people of Wuhan China already began falling ill from a mysterious virus and it quickly spread to the masses. The heroic health workers in the Hubei province have experienced a horrific holocaust but also hope in hardship when other regions started coming to their aid. Coronavirus spread so quickly throughout the world calling everyone to self-isolate and stay home. We need to pray for an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.

G is for... Georgia Guidestones

#AtoZChallenge 2020 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter G
Georgia Guidestones

The stone tablet at Georgia Guidestones mentions a clever plot by the Freemason's united world to reduce the world's population from 7 billion to 500 million so it is easier to control. If that doesn't sound ridiculously maniacal, Freemasonry's own set of 10 commandments is in blatant defiance to God.
What game are they playing and who do these people think they are? They appear to worship a female god called, Gaia. Mother nature. I am shocked to the extent the coronavirus appears to be a weapon for population control. The Chinese government is keeping a tight lid on the real number of deaths in Wuhan, probably to cover their own mistakes, but the smoke of their bodies can be seen from space. smog is coming from the crematoriums on the outskirts of the city AND crematorium confirmed they were receiving over 100 corpses a day.
In a world of 500 million people possessed and controlled by Satan, for example, having the mark of the beast- microchip, is that any future you would want to live in? I hope not. People can be controlled to do all sorts of crazy things like infecting the world with coronavirus! The deep state elites know it was a Chinese scientist that released the deadly virus. It is only going to get worse. The one world people want to reduce the population, just like the stone tablets reveal, and let's be honest; War could not kill enough people like the spread of a deadly virus could. On a massive scale, it is much more gratifying to use a deadly disease. Just ask Bill Gates and wasn't it Prince Philip who said: "If I were to reincarnate, I would like to come back as a deadly virus, in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation"?

Killing people in any form is breaking the Laws of the Almighty God. For one thing, there is no such thing as overpopulation. The problem is that men are greedy AF, hoarding riches that really don't belong to them anyway.

F is for ...Foggy with a chance of Flurries

#AtoZChallenge 2020 Blogging from A to Z Challenge letter F
Foggy with a chance of flurries

Allow me to reiterate the fate of the future, fear of COVID-19, and the folly of evil.
The fate of the future, if you are a believer, has been foretold and written about in the Bible but none of us really knows what or how it will look or what it really means unless the Holy Spirit reveals it.
Satan is preparing a great holocaust to destroy us!
Read Scriptures: 2 Thess ch.2 to understand that we are indeed living in the end times. Furthermore, who would have believed an infectious disease would affect everyone forcing us into quarantine and social distancing 6 feet away from each other?
It's crazy! it's slaughter! it's mass murder! it's genocide! it's extermination!
India has ordered its people to stay indoors for 21 days. Some of them spoke about how they'd rather die from COVID then from hunger. I hope they don't die and that it doesn't end that way, gosh.
I've been told from a Wal-Mart employee, we're only allowed one package of toilet paper per household and yes, food has been in short supply here too. A few store shelves are empty of pasta, eggs and other items that we all need. I am certain the future is going to be a lot worse but I hope I'm not around to see it. Imagine our currency having no value anymore or resorting to barter for the necessities of life. Love for your neighbour and enemies is and has always been the law for Christians. I'm not trying to make sense of what's going on in the world but through fasting and prayer, evil can be overcome and to focus our prayers for an end to this epidemic.
Fatima's Message
The Rosary solves all problems.
In an effort to help you understand what I think is happening this breaking news video seems to have evidence and receipts incriminating the culprits responsible for spreading this man-made virus.
Now I am worried we might not even make it through to the end of this April AtoZ Challenge! The internet is supposed to go down on Good Friday!? (according to the video), but I don't believe everything I hear.
Stay Safe Everyone.
