Three cheers for the internet, says Pope

After all the criticism, much of it quite intemperate, which has been heaped upon him, you would expect that Benedict XVI would be quite negative about the media. On the contrary, he went on a good ideas offensive this week, declaring that the internet was a great force for good. “The Internet could in this way become a kind of ‘Court of the Gentiles’, where ‘there is also a space for those who have not yet come to know God’,” he told participants in an Italian conference on “digital witnesses”.
I exhort all media professionals not to tire of nourishing in their heart that passion for man that draws ever closer to the languages he speaks and to his true face. You will be helped in this by a solid theological formation and above all a deep and joyful passion for God, fed by a constant dialogue with the Lord... As I thank you for the service you give to the Church and therefore to the cause of man, I exhort you to walk the roads of the digital continent, animated by the courage of the Holy Spirit. Our confidence is not uncritically placed in any instrument of technology. Our strength lies in being Church, believing community, able to bear witness to all the perennial newness of the Risen One, with a life that blooms in fullness in the measure that it opens up, enters into relation, gives itself gratuitously.

A letter to Catholic bishops about the Church's sexual abuse crisis

In 2002 Dr Fitzgibbons and two other doctors of the Catholic Medical Association wrote a letter to Catholic bishops with their analysis of the sexual abuse crisis. It was a harsh critique of homosexuals in the priesthood:
In treating priests who have engaged in pedophilia and ephebophilia we have observed that these men almost without exception suffered from a denial of sin in their lives... Rejecting the Church's teachings on sexual morality, these men for the most part adopted the utilitarian sexual ethic which the Holy Father so brilliantly critiqued in his book, Love and Responsibility. They came to see their own pleasure as the highest end and used others -- including adolescents and children -- as sexual objects. They consistently refused to examine their consciences, to accept the Church's teachings on moral issues as a guide for their personal actions, or regularly avail themselves of the sacrament of reconciliation. These priests either refused to seek spiritual direction or chose a spiritual director or confessor who openly rebelled against Church teachings on sexuality. Tragically, these mistakes allowed these men to justify their behaviors.

VATICAN: Homosexuals are responsible

The clerical abuse scandal

The media will go to great lengths to cover up that most of the abuse is homosexual in nature.

The sex abuse crisis in the church is due to aphebophilia not pedophilia. An attraction to post-pubescent children, which means adolescent males were the victims and homosexuals in the priesthood were the abusers.

The sex abuse scandals is one resulting from homosexual clergy who refuse to live by their vows.

Vatican’s secretary of State, Tarcisio Bertone, links homosexuality to pedophilia in the Church. NOT celibacy. He said there are many studies that conclude there is no connection between celibacy and sex abuse.

Instead, Bertone offered another explanation. He cited studies, that he says, prove there’s a link between homosexuality and pedophilia.

His words have been widely criticized and provoked outrage especially among gay rights organizations.

I don't believe there is such a thing as a homosexual faithful priest or religious.

A message to All Catholics

This is an important message
Go to Confession! It is the promise of Our LORD that if you go to confession 8 days before or after Divine Mercy Sunday, which is tomorrow, you will receive total forgiveness and punishment from your sins. It is a chance to start new . Jesus said, “Whoever approaches the Fountain of Life on this day will be granted complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.” (Diary, 300) To receive Communion worthily one should be in the state of grace and without serious sin.
