Benedict XVI, theologian-pope completes five years

April 15, 2010. It has been five years since the start of Benedict XVI pontificate. Before then, Joseph Ratzinger, was the right hand man of John Paul II, as prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith since1981, he was elected his successor in April of 2005.
