Watch this animation of Edward Gorey's poem about Enchanting tots essentially dying off in all kinds of ways for Alphabe-Thursday. He must have not liked kids .

Which gashly tiny are you? mine is J and it seems that I took lye by mistake :(. Anyway I thought it was a good ABC poem in the spirit of halloween. The illlustrations are Exceptional .
This is a letter E edition of Alphabe Thursday I know the poem is called Gashly tinies and would be better as a letter G but really it has ALL of the alphabet and I posted it because of halloween . It's my second one so..... shhh
oh poor Ernest - though the other kids seemed to have it worst
ReplyDeleteThis is so EXCELLENT! I am ENTHRALLED by the EFFECTUAL drawings! Your ENTHUSIASM for E is EXCEPTIONAL!!

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit. I used to live in Calgary from 86 to 89. I read your profile and it says that you lost everything that was not yours including your family...what do you mean^ I love your blog...beautiful effects. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteOh man. I'm Maud, who was swept out to sea. Not so bad, except I'm terrified of being caught out in the middle of the ocean by myself. It's why I've never been on a cruise. :-)
ReplyDeletePoor Earnest. That's the pits!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and macabre stop on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday! I was done in by lye, too!
ReplyDeleteI am going to send this link to Julie Schuler. It reminded me a lot of her A-T links last season.
And, Jackie. I love your new header, too!
Thanks for the fun stop!
