LOVE fondue, chocolate or cheese! I'm looking forward to trying the caramel :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't know where the tradition came from, but from the time I was a tiny child, my grandparents always served oyster stew on Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteOur Halloween tradition, started by me, has always been chili. Easy to make, easy to serve. I made the kids eat a bowl before they went out Trick or Treating--kept them from eating candy along the way.
Glad you enjoyed the story of Faust. I thought everyone was familiar with Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera. The music is lovely--the story even lovlier.
Jenny fixed my screw-up!
