Exodus 1:13: So they made the people of Israel serve with rigor,

You know the story right? How Moses was sent on a mission from God to tell Pharoah King of Egypt to 'Let My People Go'? God's people being the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob aka the children of Israel.
If you've ever watched the movie with Charleton Heston, The Ten Commandments, then you have a general idea of what the Exodus is about or maybe it was Prince of Egypt that reminds you of the awesome Trek of the Israelites through the wilderness?
Regardless, Moses grew up in the House of Pharaoh but upon learning his roots from a slave woman, he was called to search out the God of Israel who gave him 10 Laws to live by on a stone tablet and Moses was forever deemed holy by the Lord.

Exodus 3:2: And the angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and lo, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.

He was Israel's leader that led them out of Egypt into the Promised Land. Oh Yeah, Great and Mighty is God who has shown His mighty deeds and miraculous wonders in the journey through the desert, but the people rebelled against everything because they could not handle God's Way. Sin turned them wicked. So God promised to put an end to sin once and for all by sacrificing His own Son for us so that we might have everlasting life, mercy and forgiveness by being redeemed through the Cross if only we believed in His Son Jesus Christ. Numerous occasions for that but it was only by God's grace that people could even believe and understand who Jesus Christ really was *sigh. Do you think by now we could all exclaim like Peter: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”?
