I'm not sure what else to think besides incredulously cute . Santa keeps us updated throughout his busy year at the north pole starting in January . We read about Rudolph getting the flu and their new operating machine that makes wrapping presents quicker , but when something goes wrong and an elf goes missing , santa thinks he's out getting new parts at the store to fix it but we learn that the missing elf was caught in the machine , giftwrapped and shipped to some far away country, but he came back eventually.

Santa and Jesus are NOT at odds

I hate the fact that some people think Jesus and Santa Claus are supposed to be fighting one another and at odds . It bugs me . It's not very mature or prudent .You see titles and even graphic images , like this : Jesus vs Santa.

This only reinforces unbelievers who might think Jesus is just a myth or is even non existant . It's sad and I wish people would get their facts straight.

To believe in Santa Claus is to believe in giving, love and unselfishness. Christmas time is the one time each year where almost everyone all over the world gives to one another. It is the season of unselfishness. So the spirit of Santa Claus is the spirit of love.

For those not familiar with St Nicolas, he is referred to as the “wonderworker” and he is the same saint identified with Santa Claus. He had a reputation for secret gift-giving and thus became the model for Santa Claus.
