The First Flight

A call from air traffic control came in through the radio :
"Cleared For Takeoff"

"Ok, here we go, full throttle straight ahead"

The small Cessna 172 picked up speed as it roared down the runway, Sara at the controls, the flight instructor beside her, "get ready to climb, maintain 3,000 feet."

*Oh you sexy pilot * Sara thought . She had been using a flight simulator and was learning every aspect of aircraft control but this time she felt lighter. All she could see was heaven . Learning to fly was a dream come true and she was excited to have her instructor with her for the first time , whose company and conversations she knew she'd enjoy. She didn't mind him pushing the control buttons either.

This meme is a perfect opportunity to be on our best behaviour , and watch our language. Ms Jenny keeps telling us that.  She is our teacher : Mind your P's and Q's is an incessant admonition among teachers, to their students, warning them to note the right-handed knob of the p's and the left-handed knob of the q's.

It's a quirky idiom alright , and what is puzzling about it is the Q sound . It is thought to be an abbreviation of  'mind your pleases and thank yous'  but your guess is as good as mine . So there you have it .

Sin within

The Pope lays it all out in one simple sentence.

There is no such thing as luck

Miracles happen everyday . God knows how to give good gifts to his children if we are only open to receive them . This may mean through prayer and diligently seeking Him and our selflessness , that is , surrender to His divine will. Some people call it 'let go and let God' . That is we should seek God's will for our life. He guides our very footsteps into the supernatural wonders that is Him and He knows how to make it seem so natural for us . I believe in guardian angels do you? I know every one has one but we often never call on them and they desire to help us so much. My guardian angel has been with me all along my lifes journey , I know it . He has protected me and defended me on numerous occasions . The bible says when we resist the devil , he will flee . Sometimes I cannot see the danger and the devil lurking around and my guardian angel does and he makes them flee so I can escape from it .

Anyway I am trying my writing skills on a meme hosted by Jenny Matlock . You should try it .

Ok so this is a revised version of my original because I didn`t quite get it the first time .

Week 1 Prompt:

My untied shoelace changed my life. As I leaned down to re-tie it, I kicked away a few leaves. When I turned my head slightly to look where the leaves had been, I was astonished to see a rubber-banded wad of hundred dollar bills nestled in a little indention in the muddy ground.

Miracles happen everyday and this day was no exception. I accepted it trusting in God`s divine providence because He knows how to give good gifts to His children . I could only speculate as to how that money got there but I refused to think about it cause in my opinion that wasn`t the point . "Finders keepers" is all I have to say and I don`t believe I was supposed to feel guilty for finding it nor do I think I was meant to worry about it . I desire to be like the sparrow, and to have the same faith that they have in God’s provision. May I live my life and trust Him to provide in due time. May I remember how He cares for them, and how much more He cares for me.
