I Plan On Reading - The Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole

I finished reading

Uhhhhh.... nothing? ha! I'm still workin on it. I just didn't feel like reading. Sometimes it helps if I switch to a different reading format like a book to electronic or to audio? but I've exhausted my options :(

I hope to be finished listening to
Lothaire sometime soon but otherwise I'm a very slow reader. The book is dark and sexual and funny. Elizabeth Peirce - the human whose body is being possessed by an evil goddess named Saroya, is funny. Saroya is an evil bitch but Lothaire is quite troubling isn't he? His voice narrated by Robert Petkoff has a strong Russian accent and sounds so ....old. I couldn't match the voice with the face(on the front cover) at first. I also don't recommend starting the series with this book, like I did, because it may turn you off if you're not used to it. It took me awhile, but I can honestly say I am slowly 'loving' it and must read the whole series.

    YES!!! I love this series!! Starting on Lothaire is kind of weird, because I feel like you don't get his entire character. You lose the kind of awe for him and why he's called the Enemy of Old. I think the series did a great build up to Lothaire finally having his mate!! I loved Elizabeth! Cole really knows how to write an amazing heroine!

    Oh, I love switching formats. I mostly do Kindle, but when I have somewhat of a reading slump, I find that having a read book in my hand usually helps!

      Yes ! Hi! I suppose I have missed a lot by reading Lothaire first, I know, that is why I've started at the beginning. You are right I don't know why Lothaire is called The Enemy of Old and I can't wait to read more about it in the preceding books. Wow, they are hot and steamy !
