What I Finished Reading

After reading the Sabina Kane series by Jaye Wells, I thought I could get into the Night Huntress novels, I even found a read -a- long BUT sadly  I- AM -NOT -ENJOYING- IT -SO- FAR~!

I purchased 6 of the Night Huntress novels and I am just disappointed with the whole thing. I thought I could get into it after reading 'Halfway to the Grave' but as much as I want to like it, the whole vampire concept is just too freakin stupid . Cat doesn't even come close to being a kickass heroine neither is Bones imo. It's la la la lamo .I get how some people just don't like this sorta thing cuz that's what I'm leaning toward with this series. It may be I only need to wait awhile before I can enjoy reading them idk . I also borrowed the audiobooks from the library just to get a better feel for the characters and now I wish I hadn't cause I probably would've come to a better conclusion had I read them myself.

Another reason I may not be enjoying the Night Huntress series could be because I read some erotic romance novel in between? and a new adult love story idk*shrugs.

  1. Jamie McGuire--I've never heard of her, but I think I want to read these based on the covers. Thanks for sharing.

  2. It is not great to be frustrated from books, I feel you. Let them go and if they call you, go back. I have had the Disaster books on my list for awhile but still haven't got to them.

  3. I enjoyed reading Beautiful Disaster and would probably rather read that than a series that I can't get into. I'm sorry for you that that series isn't clicking. I haven't read it, but if I can't get behind a protagonist then I probably won't believe in the story enough to keep reading. Thanks for visiting my blog! I am hoping I like Scarlet as much as I enjoyed Cinder! xo!
