Review Halfway to the Grave

Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1)

Halfway to the Grave

Night Huntress, Book One

by Jeaniene Frost

Catherine Crawfield was born with certain vampire qualities. Her eyes would glow green and she could see ghosts. She was a half breed which explains the title. In other words she was Half Dead.

From the moment Catherine Crawfield was caught driving with a busted tailight I immersed myself into a fantasy world that was too harsh for a young woman who'd taken to killing vampires with a vengeance but the only way she could do that was with her womanly wiles.

She's one heck of a bitch though. Sometimes her manners were like sandpaper to my ears and I didn't like the way she'd treated Bones at first but her tone changed when she began falling for him, thank god. Bones was a vampire hunter already and he thought he could use her help to catch the real big bad guys, so he begins training her to be a great fighter as well.

Halfway to the Grave is the perfect romance to cuddle up with anytime of the year but to be honest I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much had I not read the novella first. Home for the Holidays (Night Huntress #6.5). So strap on your seat belts cuz this is going to be one helluva vampy ride
