Best _Book to Movie/TV Adaptation_ Of 2014

These are my best book to movie/TV adaptations that I've read in 2014 I may have broken a few rules in choosing a topic for this one (naughty me), however, in my defense, IF I'm FREE to choose a topic of choice than why stipulate? I also chose a couple of books like The Giver, and If I Stay that I hadn't read in 2014 however I watched the movie in 2014! :p Don't Judge Me . . . pleaase.

Game of Thrones 4th season premiered on April 6, 2014. Season 4 is mostly based on the second half of A Storm of Swords, the third book in A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. You can watch all 10 episodes on HBO like I did :) and I've seen all 4 seasons

The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies is my favorite book-to-movie of 2014 by far. An Epic Fantasy.

3 Outlander premiered on Starz in the U.S.A. on August 9, 2014.

Fallen by Lauren Kate The film is in pre-production so I haven't seen it yet, but is currently slated to hit theaters in 2014. I read Passion in February 2014.
The Prizoner of Azkaban . Although the movie isn't a 2014 release  I read the book for the first time in 2014
6 The Maze Runner. The movie was released in Theaters September 19,2014. I thought it was a mix of Hunger Games and Game of Thrones with the watchers beyond the wall thing .

7 If I Stay released August 22, 2014. I watched the movie about a week ago and I liked the book more.

8 Guardians of The Galaxy was released in 2014. My favorite character is Groot . Loved it.
The Giver hit theaters on August 15, 2014, The sameness reminded me of Logan's Run.

Barnes & Noble
10 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014. If you loved those turtles in a half shell before this movie will shell shock you Honestly.

So before anybody protests I will choose a topic that is listed in the rules and one that I used last year .

Breaking Dawn

Breaking Dawn (Twilight, #4)

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
_________Spoilers__________
We ended Eclipse with Bella finally accepting Edward's proposal. I haven't reviewed Eclipse yet because I've not read it. However, I've seen the movie, and it was as fantastic as the rest of the story IMO.

Breaking Dawn pt 1 is all about the wedding of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan and their honeymoon . The whole time you couldn't help but think about the agreement Edward had made with her to turn her into a vampire .

Breaking Dawn is two books in one. Part 1 the movie just came out in November 2011 where we are left with a very pregnant Bella who is on the verge of dying but delivers a half human-half vampire baby.

It was never believed possible for vampires to conceive a child and research proves tough because very little is known about it happening except....... well.... when Alice disappears for most of Part 2 shall we say? She is off looking for any clue or evidence of anything that could vindicate their precious little baby they called Renesmee Carrie Cullen because Alice had a vision and everyone panicked, and drama ensued at the Cullen residence.

....Meanwhile... the Volturi are after the Cullen's for thinking they have broken vampire Law. It was falsely reported that the Cullen's had a new immortal in their company.

Jacob O Jacob! I do not feel sorry for him because he still fits into the picture better than I had expected. In Part I, we are made to understand more about his kind and how they imprint on people. Of course, they are not children of the moon we call werewolves, but they are shapeshifters. They cannot bite people that allow another monster to be created. He is drawn to Renesmee like something was pulling him and the ties were so strong. More Durable than strings; more like steel cables. This force causes him to Imprint on her. Imprinting is like becoming soulmates or parabatais. I imagine Renesmee will be well protected and this makes me euphoric.

Will it be a happily ever after? Or will it end in an all-out battle to the death.....

My Ideal Saturday Night

I don't like to drink but I do have one or two beer occasionally so drinking is not my idea of a good time . Oddly I feel better when I go to Church especially when I'm able to receive Jesus in the Eucharist . That makes everything feel a little lighter and brighter and gives me strength and graces and I like that . So my ideal saturday night would not be without going to Church first of all . Then going to some fancy restaurant with someone you love and ordering your favorite foods , whatever that may be . The ideal saturday night for me wouldn't be without having gone shopping for a dress or new shoes to wear. Going out to a movie afterwards is how I like to spend Saturday nights. Expect it isn't cheap , that's all .

1. shopping for a nice dress or shoes or both
2. going to church
3. nice restaurant good food
4. movie

Monday Movie | There Be Dragons

This looks like a movie worth watching, about forgiveness and reconciliation . Better than the Davinci Code. click the picture .

THERE BE DRAGONS, is a powerful story of war, tragedy, love and redemption. Set during the turmoil of the Spanish Civil War (early 1900's), Dragons tells the story of two childhood friends who became separated during the political conflict to find themselves on opposite sides as war erupts. One chooses the path of peace and becomes a priest while the other chooses the life of a soldier driven by jealousy and revenge. Each will struggle to find the power of forgiveness over the forces that tore their lives and friendship apart..

"Overall an excellent and moving film about forgiveness, love, compassion, and redemption. Will inspire faith and conversion, compelling people to look at their own relationships and souls, leading to great love and forgiveness." Father John Meyer, Cathedral of St. Paul
