Yes I have to agree with point no.2 when it comes to myspace religion forum. My blood pressure would rise and I hated everyone and everything . I no longer post there.


2) Your salvation is more important than your involvement on the Internet.
If frequenting a blog or forum disturbs your peace and makes you anxious, uncharitable and/or unkind to those around you, you should simply stop going to that blog or forum. I have had to abandon certain forums and blogs because I found myself too upset with those I encountered there. It is better to simply walk away.

The Plight of the Poor

Have you ever lived in a conundrum? Like NOT being able to afford the cost of living? or stripped of the necessities of life? Most people have no idea what homelessness is like, me included.

Wouldn’t it be something if all the poor people were seen as citizens and respected in the world? I believe God loves them and I would like to see evidence of this .

God says : "I shall establish My Kingdom in the midst of poverty those very ones who have time to hear My Spirit, adore Me and do My Will; in these My Soul rejoices!" TLIG quote

The world is a cold , impossible hell without friendly, helpful, loving, forgiving, patient, kind, merciful, generous kind of people . There ain’t too many of those in the world.


This sermon says it all (credits Whispers in the Loggia)

“…How can we exclude anyone from our care? Rather we must recognize Christ in the poorest and the most marginalized, those whom the Eucharist – which is communion is the Body and Blood of Christ given up for us – commits us to serve. As the parable of the rich man, who will remain forever without a name, and the poor man called Lazarus clearly shows, ‘in the stark contrast between the insensitive rich man and the poor in need of everything, God is on the latter’s side’. We too must be on this same side.”

The words actually come from the late great Pope John Paul II in a message he gave for a World Peace Day some years ago. He wished to remind Catholics that involvement in what are sometimes called “peace and justice” issues is not optional – nor it is the purview of those who would label themselves either “liberal” or “conservative”. Rather such involvement is a constitutive part of the living out of our faith. Solidarity as the late Pope once said is another word for justice in our day. It is “a firm and preserving determination to commit oneself to the common good.”...

As Catholics, we must be involved in the issues of world hunger, human rights, peace building and justice promotion. This social ministry is not opposed to the ultimate spiritual and transcendent destiny of the human person. It presupposes this destiny and is ultimately orientated to this end. If this earth is our only highway to heaven, then we must seek to maintain it – and to make sure to the best of our abilities that this highway is cleared of the obstacles which sin -both personal and structural- has place in the path of those traveling on it.
To go back to the parable of Lazarus: the rich man was condemned not for anything he did (though certainly one can go to hell for doing bad things) but for what he did not do. A faith without works – without concrete engagement with the least of our brethren -- is dead.


The Eucharist reminds us that our commitment as Catholics to work for peace and justice in the world is not born of some ideology or political platform; rather, it is born of a person, Jesus Christ. And therefore, our “solidarity” with the world of pain is a call to a commitment expressed in allegiance not to lofty propositions but to concrete persons in whom we are to see the face of Christ – this solidarity is lived out through the practice of what the Catechism calls the corporal and spiritual works of mercy.


God takes the side of the poor, the oppressed, the marginalized – through the works of mercy, we take their side too.”

The best way to overcome your fear of the Bible is by reading it! Seriously, by becoming familiar with it you will probably discover how much you were thirsting for it! and that's a good thing. So to 'draw from the wellspring of eternal life' is 'God's language', for receiving the Holy Spirit, who is the water/power/source/creator of Life. In the spiritual realm , it is the Truth .

Love One Condition

T my request, Phil reluctantly agreed to live in separate places beginning October 1st. He found a beautiful place and moved his stuff in on Sunday and everything is working just fine ~haha ya right~ apart from being bored out of my skull and him missing me something fierce, with tears in his eyes.

Anyway, I had to go see Phil, at the Bottle Depot to pick up the money for our second last computer payment - I always have to go out of my way for Aaron’s  Rentals, to bring it in person which I don't mind but this month was a different story... I hadn't seen Phil in two days! I was so looking forward to it.

Previously I had not wanted to see or talk to him, and I actually hung up on him when he phoned to wish me a happy birthday on Oct 4th;(  I was mad at him, that's why I hadn't seen him in two days.

I got into an argument with him on Sunday, in fact, if you knew me, I don't tolerate drinkers that well. He's not a problem drinker, but he does drink after work occasionally, like that night.  Even though it was his day off,  Phil had brought in a case of beer, and it only escalated from there. I could not stand them drinking, and I wasn't going to join them. Occasionally I do but, I only land up getting sick, and I don't like it!! The plan was to move a bookshelf to my place and his stuff to his new place. I left him at work, fuming angry.

The good thing is we are still together,  only now we have two places to live, and I don't have to give up any part of my income. Hey, I am trying to make it less stressful financially for the both of us.  I don't think it's fair that Phil has to report any of his income and I am not ready to get off AISH, but if we owned our own business or something fantastical like that, like if we both worked together, then I would. Maybe now we can save our money.

I am excited about going to his place to help him get settled in. He says he hasn't slept much since we've been apart (a whole two days) <– Brutal :D

The Witches Field

The Witch Farms spooktacular harvest of pumpkins was a once in a blue moon event and was open to the public and Mitch dreamed of the most incredible pumpkin he could find, to celebrate Halloween this year.

The legend was, this harvest belonged to a generous witch who shared her seeds in the springtime.

If someone else toiled in it, the crops would die and she would send beetles to plague them.

..... who wants my pumpkin pretties? It was not your normal , edible pumpkin he was after anyway, *gulp* he just wanted to decorate his house to scare the little goblins and ghouls with.
