From the Shadow Lands of Asshai to the Shores of Dragonstone and the frozen lands beyond the Wall in Game of Thrones (#GoT), comes the 10th anniversary of the AtoZ challenge...
Warning: Spoilers ahead Zombie giants, bears, dragons and spiders? I don't know if we will see spiders but we see the Night King reanimate Viserion into a zombie dragon. The Night King was created first by the Children of the Forest. He can create white walkers simply by touching them and can also reanimate the dead. I know right? He's quite powerful in his ability to control the weather too, making winter storms in the cold long night.
In the World of Ice and Fire the Jogos Nhai live in the far eastern regions of Essos in the desert and ride Zorses. A black and white striped hybrid cross between a horse and an animal similar to Zebras. The Jogos Nhai are like the Dothraki nomads and are not presented in the show but in the books, one of the members of the sell sword company that chops Jamie's hand off rides one. Also, the Brave Companions ride them. Video source: Alt Shift X
Can you guess who this Letter Z is?
___ called "Fat ___". A Dothraki sellsword and member of the Brave Companions.
THE END
I hope you have enjoyed the journey through the AtoZchallenge as much as I have. I learnt many things about Game of Thrones that I didn't know before. May we meet again soon. Good Night.

She didn't know anything either. The truth that Sam tells Jon in season 8 E1 is probably the most incendiary fact in the entire world of #GoT. That suddenly he finds out the truth about his life, that he's not a bastard and that his new love is his aunt. Ned Stark understood how dangerous the truth about Jon being Aegon Targaryen sixth of his name, protector of the realm and heir to the Iron Throne was, and that's why he protected Jon from it.
“I hate this Wall,” she said in a low angry voice. “Can you feel how cold it is?” “It’s made of ice,” Jon pointed out. “You know nothing, Jon Snow. This wall is made o’ blood.”
Can you guess who the letter Y is?
____, a red-haired wildling woman said to be lucky and kissed by fire. She coined the phrase "You know nothing, Jon Snow". They were lovers on set, and in real life, they are married FYI.

Game of Thrones is an X-rated fantasy series that deals with the mature subject matter and viewer discretion is advised. Some people may find it offensive.
I cringed to see the way some females are portrayed. I prefer women who are strong and powerful like Brienne of Tarth.
Even though the show may be dark and full of terrors, it has a decent amount of humour as well. Take Tyrion Lannister, the dwarf, as an example. He has the best humour in all of Westeros. I also like Dolores Edd of the Night's Watch whom Jon Snow befriends and Samwell Tarly, for just being a coward but not really, and even Ser Bron of the Blackwater.
Karl Tanner
Nothing of the violence really bothered me. Not even the Red Wedding*shrugs* I guess I am used to seeing all manner of violence on TV these days and perhaps we're all a bit jaded.
A few characters disturbed me though, like Ramsay Bolton, Craster, Karl Tanner-the mutinous murdering bastard that kills Jeor Mormont, Locke (Vargo Hoat in the books) and Euron Greyjoy. These men are evildoers more than good.

⇶ is a rich merchant "prince" of Qarth who wishes to acquaint himself with the Mother of Dragons. He offers his hand in marriage, but Daenerys refuses. Although vouching and caring for her during her stay at Qarth, he ultimately betrays her and crowns himself "King of Qarth". He conspires with Pyat Pree to capture Daenerys and steal her dragons, but after she successfully retrieves them, she takes her revenge and locks him alive in his own vault.

There wouldn't be A Game of Thrones without Ice. Just saying. I fell in love with the show because of the giant Wall of ice and snow, as well as the dragons. I'm also in favour of House Stark and Winterfell. Their House motto is "Winter Is Coming" as Ned Stark used to say. But those of us who are fans of the show and have seen the ending of season 7, know that 'Winter has arrived' in Westeros, bringing with it the Army of the Dead, White Walkers and the Long Night.
Can You Guess Who or What the Letter Is? (if it isn't obvious :p)
— — who are sometimes called Others, are second in command next to the Night King. They have the power to reanimate the dead. — — can be killed by Valyrian steel or dragon glass and are not susceptible to fire. The Wights are zombie-like dead humans. The Wights are the weakest and are foot soldiers for the army of the dead. Power is power, Cersei said. The Night king seems to be the most powerful entity in A Game of Thrones.

Valyria was once the capital of a great empire called the Valyrian Freehold. Located on a peninsula in Essos in the vicinity of Slavers Bay, it was destroyed by a cataclysmic event known as the Doom of Valyria.
At its apex, Valyria was the greatest city in the known world, the center of civilization. Within its shining walls, twoscore rival houses vied for power and glory in court and council, rising and falling in an endless, subtle, of a savage struggle for dominance.—writings of Yandel
Aegon Targaryen and his sisters
There were dragons then, and the Targaryens saved themselves by going to Dragonstone with their dragons. The Doom that shattered Valyria changed the geography of the land by separating the peninsula and breaking the city of Valyria and the Lands surrounding it.
It is an ancient and old ruin now, where few people venture. Valyria used to connect to dragon roads and cities and was said to have had topless towers and sphinxes as decorations. It still holds many treasures such as Valyrian steel blades and other items of magical power.
An entire encyclopedia was written about Valyria in the World of Ice and Fire-The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones.
Rulers of Valyria were called dragonlords and practised blood magic and other dark arts. I don't want to delve much into GoT history. It's safe to say that the Targaryens were the only nobles with dragons who escaped the destruction of Valyria.—George R. R. Martin
Valar Morghulis is a High Valyrian expression meaning All men must die, it is a password for the Faceless Men and Arya joins this order when she sets sail to Braavos, for no other reason, other than her mother and brother were just killed in the Red Wedding and there is no one left to protect her. It is in Braavos where she furthers her fighting career and tries to become No One but that becomes a lesson in futility.
Valar morghulis was how they said 'All men must die' in Valyria of old. And the Doom came and proved it true.—Oberyn Martell to Tyrion Lannister

The Mad King Aerys Targaryen cut out Ser Ilyn Paynes tongue because he said that Tywin Lannister was the true ruler of Westeros. Aerys took offence. Joffrey the illicit dumbass, also likes chopping body parts off of people, not just the tongues of musicians.
T is for ...The Thenns. A bunch of scary wildlings who follow their leader. On the TV show, their Magnar is called Styr. Styr is the Thenn who is killed by Jon Snow with an axe to the head. The Thenn's speak in the old tongue of the First Men and Magnar translates as 'Lord'. They are a tribe of Free Folk who live on the north side of the wall and eat the flesh of men they kill and scar their face and shave their head bald. "I know we've had our differences, Tormund. But just one time, before you die, you really ought to try... crow." ―Styr is about to eat a dead "crow"

A sword needs a sheath. And a wedding needs a bedding.- Walder Frey
The Iron Throne is said to have been forged by Aegon the Conqueror, with 1,000 swords surrendered to Aegon in the War of Conquest by the lords who offered their fealty and melted them down by the fiery breath of Aegon's dragon, Balerion the Black Dread.
This new poster released for GoT season 8 aftermath, shows all characters lying dead with their corpses turned into swords making the Iron Throne. How appropriate
Swords are an important theme in Game of Thrones particularly if they are made with Valyrian Steel. The GoT image of the black raven's wings and feathers are partly made with swords.
Arya acquires her sword from Jon Snow as a parting gift before he takes the black. She names it Needle because all the good ones have names.
Ned Starks swordhas been in his family for thousands of years.
Ned's Sword named Ice
‘Catelyn had no love for swords, but she could not deny that Ice had its own beauty’. Ned's Starks mystical sword, ice was forged in Valyria and the ironsmiths would forge the blade with magic as well as hammers. Ice is said to be 400 years old and is still sharp till the present day. The sword is a family heirloom and has been around since Ned’s ancestors were Kings in the North."-page 27 from AGOT illustrated edition
Valyrian Steel is the only substance along with Dragon Glass that can kill White Walkers.
After Ned is beheaded, Tywin Lannister has Ice forged and fashioned into two swords. Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail. He hired Tobho Mott, the smith who Gendry works for, to do the work "No one's made a new Valyrian steel sword since the Doom of Valyria."-Jamie Lannister.
Valyrian sword metal is imbued with magic spells and forged with Dragonfire or is it Valyrian rubber? Oops.
Brienne of Tarth is given Oathkeeper as a gift from Jamie before he tells her to go and fulfill her oath(s); to look out for Catelyn Starks girls.
Here is a sick video about Valyrian Steel that I can't embed but I encourage you to watch it. It's only 1 minute and 27 seconds.
In reciting the Nigth's Watch vows, they say they are 'a sword in the darkness.' Jon Snow is given Longclaw by Jeor Mormont. Samwell Tarly's sword is called Heartsbane, which is an heirloom that belongs to House Tarly of Horn Hill.
Quotes about Swords

The Red Keep is filmed in Dubrovnik. It is where we learn about the evil exploits of King Joffrey and Cersei Lannister.
The Red Wedding. This is the scene of the most notorious deaths in Game of Thrones, probably.
The Red Comet. Old Nan was the only character to interpret it as dragons. In the TV adaptation, it is Osha who got her prediction correct. The Red Comet is a sign there be dragons.
The Red Waste. It is a harsh and dangerous desert in Essos where even the Dothraki will not traverse. It is more of a blasted wasteland than a simple sandy desert.
The Red Woman Melisandre is a red priestess of the red god, R'hllor, the Lord of Light, whose worship involves the idolization of fire and light.

The City of Qarth, located in Essos, is filmed on the Island of Lokrum off the coast of Dubrovnik Croatia. It is the city where Dani leads her people to and out of the red waste. She is greeted by the Thirteen leaders of Qarth and one of them is Xaro Xoan Daxos who welcomes her and ensures she will be safe. However, he betrays Dani by conspiring with the warlock Pyat Pree to steal her dragons which they have chained up in the House of the Undying. She's mad but I love what she does and how she gets herself out of the messy predicament by not letting anyone get in between her ambitions of becoming Queen of the Iron Throne and by not letting anything stop her from going back home to Dragonstone.

Pentos in a Game of Thrones is one of the Free Cities in Essos located across the sea from the seven kingdoms of Westeros. HBO filmed on location in Malta. I would love to visit Malta. Pentos is where Dani and Viserys live AND where Tyrion sails to as a stowaway in a crate. He had just killed his father Lord Tywin Lannister and was helped by Lord Varys sail away on a ship to Pentos.
