Welcome to Alphabe Thursday . We are beginning again with the letter A . A is for Auroras…they are a spectacular sight aren’t they? Do you like Astronomy pictures? Discover the cosmos . Some of them are pretty Awesome.
Like this one …. Aurora over Norway taken on sept 16th 2010, near Skittenelv in the Tromsø area, in northern NORWAY.
Besides the one taken above here is a time-lapsed footage of the Aurora Australis, or Southern Lights. This is the Southern Hemisphere equivalent of the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights.

ReplyDeleteOh Jackie. I have never seen a picture like that. I've seen bits and pieces of the Northern lights when we visited Grandparents in Minnesota but this is amazing.
