Bed Bugs for Beelzebul

My blood pressure rises just thinking about it. The invasion of them sends shivers down my spine and a pain in my back.  Bedbugs and Fleas are cause of undue stress ! I hate them! I don’t want to sound morbid, but after just having a baby , in July 1988, fleas were the last thing I needed to come home to.

Our two cats were left in the basement apartment for an unusually long amount of time . I felt bad about that , but I was struggling to survive in an abusive relationship and everything else was rather irrelevant as I could not care more about them then my circumstances allowed.

Anyway , we all know cats are the carriers of those little creepy crawly fleas and for that I hate cats too .

I was living in Vancouver, God knows why anyone would want to live there to begin with , ok yeah, blame it on my abusive husband , but it seems to be the case that most cats and dogs in that city have fleas . I feel sorry for them , I really do.

Our carpets were infested pretty badly  …it was like the plague! I didn’t want to stay there , you know I was trying to escape with my life from my abusive husband who never gave a damn about the cats or the fleas or me or the baby or the apartment ! He could have taken the cats out , cleaned the carpets , got the house fumigated before I came home from the hospital  . You would think any man in their right mind would do this for their family . Except I blame myself for not going to live with my aunt and my grandma and for not leaving him, and that flea infested forsaken hell hole.

I came home from the hospital with baby and it was like beelzebul sent a hungry swarm of fleas on me , when I went into the bathroom . The last sanctioned vestibule for a new mother, to have a shower .  It was the only place without carpet too, as I sat on the toilet I looked down and my ankles were covered in fleas! I screamed bloody murder.

I didn’t get much sleep the first night, and I watched my baby like a hawk in the crib right next to the bed, making damn sure no flea was getting near him or his swaddling blankets. It was funny too that my sister and her boyfriend came over and stayed in the other bedroom, but they left after about an hour, which was really longer than I expected because they couldn’t stand the fleas either . Each flea I squished with my nails, some had blood on them , no doubt from one of us , gross.

Our landlord had many cats upstairs so I got rid of our two cats , sent them upstairs with the others . This would not solve the flea problem but in the course of the following days we had our carpets removed and got new carpet installed at the landlord's expense . I got rid of all our furniture and things that might have had flea residue . It was an ordeal I will never forget .

My experience with bed bugs happened 5 or 6 years ago .  My couch and chair were both infested with them . I had allowed certain people in my house who were living on the streets basically, and the bed bugs probably came in that way. This website and this video explain exactly what they are all about. If you don’t know anything about them rest assured in real life they are even worse..... it was a nightmare.

You're My Honeybunch Cuppycake

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes

with Cookie Dough Buttercream Frosting- by Kevinandamanda.com

For the cookie dough:
2 sticks softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp milk
1 tbsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup mini chocolate chips


For the cupcakes:
3 sticks softened butter
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
4 large eggs
2 2/3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract


For the frosting:
3 sticks softened butter
3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract


Directions:
To make the cookie dough, combine the butter and sugars in a mixing bowl and cream on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 2 mins. Beat in milk and vanilla until incorporated and smooth. Beat in the flour and salt until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips. Using a 1.5 tbsp scoop, shape the dough into balls or tubes. Freeze on a parchment lined baking sheet overnight.

To make the cupcakes, preheat the oven to 350° F. Line two cupcake pans with paper liners (24 total). In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the butter and brown sugar. Beat together on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Mix in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition and scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Stir together to blend. Add the dry ingredients to the mixer bowl on low speed, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients, mixing each addition just until incorporated. Blend in the vanilla.
Using a 3 tbsp scoop, fill the prepared cupcake liners 2/3 full with the cupcake batter. Place a frozen cookie dough ball on the top center of each cupcake.
Bake at 350 for 16-18 mins.

To make the frosting, combine the butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl and cream on medium-high speed until light and fluffy. Beat in the powdered sugar until smooth. Beat in the salt, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and combined.
Frost the cupcakes and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips!
Makes 24 cupcakes.

Are the sins of men referencing the 7 Deadly Sin's or Capital Sins. The Lord said as knowledge increases so does the sins of men. So they evolve.

So, all these Seven Lasts are to punish sin. And you can read them in Apocalypse, and see how men are reacting. They are so into sin, that, they cannot see anything else, and even God's punishments don't seem to serve any purpose for evolved sinners. Which Jesus calls 'spiritually wicked'.

WEEK 21 PROMPT

He never dreamed when he blew out the candles on his cake...

that he would be honored by a crew of peculiar bloggers. It was a shocking surprise! and oh!... the stories that would follow, would peak his curiosity.

The candles reminded him of each person who would have their part to tell , and it just made the candles more bright and lively. It was an amusing thought , and he couldn't stop laughing and giggling for one minute as he stared at his birthday cake , trying to take in as much air as he could to blow all those candles out .

Wars Fuel Hatred to Surrounding

There are two powers to choose from for man: Love or Hatred.

Love is the greater power for it creates Life.

Whereas Hatred destroys life.

Only Love can give Life back to a destroyed life. The life of a soul. The flesh is the same as a flower, it is easily destroyed. Whereas the soul is immortal. It cannot be erased. It can however be denied Life by your own will.

Wars serve out hatred. For war is about killing and robbing life. Though the life wars destroy are flesh lives, each person has a soul. If a persons kills, it violates the order of Life. Wars, are a contradiction in terms of Judicial Punishment of Killing. A war is the greater hatred of man infested with Satanism, towards his fellow man. He violates even his own Judicial Law in his own country. This in itself is a contradiction. Why have this law if you kill your neighboring country's citizens whose blood is red as well?

Greed and avarice is why men kill other men. They covet their neighbor's goods, wives, land so forth. The Ninth and Tenth Commandments.

Thus, this Judicial Law is hypocritical in every shape and form.

If you tell your citizens not to kill, and punish them when they are caught, by putting them in jail, but go to other countries with arms and kill them for not even killing a single hair on your head, this is hypocrisy at the grand scale. This is what war is. A means to rob. Period. You don't like someone and you repeat Cains act.

God is true. Truth. He sees perfectly thus Guides morals in those who want good morals.

The rest are fodder for Satan's Cave. You make nice flooring for him.

Now, Jesus said, "do unto other's as you would have them, do unto you." If you go and rob another country, your country will be robbed. The punishment fits the crime. Thus, God warned the Leaders. They did not listen. Now it is time for God to act, in true Justice. He is perfect in Justice as He is in Salvation. He does not lack perfection. His faculties are not 'limited'; His Eye does not miss a single dot. His Memory is not faint. His Intelligence is not faulty.

Wars, are a no no. You will be punished for your injustices.

If your laws, cover certain issues, which you do not honor but use them to beat on your citizens, it will be recompensed to you two or threefold.

If your laws, cover certain issues, which you do not honor, but go abroad and declare a new set of laws, to rob and kill, it will be recompensed upon you two and threefold, nay ten times ten, and thus you will know that I am the Lord, Your Forsaken God.

Oh, men greedy for gain, but do not understand the laws of God, how do you expect to live? Knowing that you have greater sins then the rest of your citizens? I leave you to the dregs of Hell.

Insects For Food?

Tom Turpin , a professor of entomology at Purdue University, says there are three common bugs you can easily buy, prepare and cook. Here are some interesting recipes

Mealworms 
Mealworms, which feed on grain meal, are the larvae of a beetle. They are about an inch or so long. Not to be confused with flour beetle larvae or grain moths which can infiltrate your pantry. They tend to absorb the flavors in which they are being cooked, so if you sautée them in butter, they will taste buttery. They also tend to taste like the food in which they have been raised; worms raised on wheat flour taste like bread. If you don’t want them to have the taste of what they’ve been eating, let them go without food for 24 hours and “then you have an empty-gutted meal worm,” Mr. Turpin said. “Perfect for soaking up flavors.” On a low flame with hot oil it takes about two to three minutes to cook them. And one last tip from Mr. Turpin: “Eat them head first or tail first, though I have found that the best way to eat them, especially those trying them for the first time, is with one hand over their eyes.”

Wax Moth Larvae
These larvae, which look like white caterpillars and are about an inch long, come from the bee moth. They have a soft body and make an excellent addition to trail mix, Mr. Turpin said. (Sautée, roast and mix with peanuts and pretzels.) They are a little more difficult to work with, as they are shipped in sawdust and need to be cleaned. An easy way to do this is to set the sawdust and larvae pile on a table and to shine a light onto it. The larvae will crawl away from the light source. Unlike mealworms, which have a hard exoskeleton, these worms tend to shrivel up when cooked. They taste sweet since they feed on the wax of honeybees.

Brown House Crickets
These insects are about an inch to an inch and a half long. They can be used in a variety of ways: dry roast them, shuck them (take off their wings and legs), or put them on a tooth pick and dip them in chocolate. (Mr. Turpin said one of his favorite recipes is to replace half the chocolate chips in a standard chocolate-chip cookie recipe with shucked crickets. He calls them Chocolate chirpy chip cookies.) Because of their exoskeleton, they don’t absorb much flavor, although they do have a distinctive taste of their own. “I can’t compare them to something someone would recognize,” Mr. Turpin said. “They taste like cricket. They are very much their own flavor.” The outside is crunchy and the inside is soft, like a jelly-filled doughnut, he added.

Why Am I Getting This Message?

Wake Up!

Ha! I've been waking up at around 2 am just to see the Pope live on webcast . I don't like having to watch only the highlights of the day . On my sidebar you can see the exact time in London and we are 7 hours behind here in Canada. It makes me feel like I'm right there with 'em. Anyway this is what is on my screen now . Someone is polishing up the cross for the westminster Mass .
