Follow Friday

Well as this is a new bloghop for me anyway, I expect to gain new followers and follow others like crazy -like I haven't before . The rules are that if you get a comment or a new follower , you must follow back. I follow a lot of blogs already but it would seem not many people visit and follow back. My blog keeps changing as the tide and today it's all about books and reading. Yesterday it was about my catholic religion. Perhaps tomorrow it will be about writing . That is one reason I can't commit to paying a lot for a blog design- because I can't make up my mind. Truth be told it's because I don't have a niche. There are some beautiful blogs out there and it makes me wish I had a beautiful blog design too.

Q: It's Thanksgiving Day in the U.S. so we want to know what you are Thankful for - blogging related of course! Who has helped you out along the way? What books are you thankful for reading?

Who I am thankful for the most are blog designers and that includes the host of this bloghop , Parajunkee  :h

  1. Hi, Jackie! Hey, I think your blog is very nice! Maybe you could get a patterned background to make it stand out more, I don't know...but I do love that beautiful shade of blue you have now! I also love the Christmas banner you have at the top -- too cute!

I noticed that you're a Catholic, and aren't afrsid to proclaim it. Well, good for you!! I'm a Catholic, too, although I haven't really mentioned it on my blog. That will probably change, though, since I do want to start reviewing non-fiction books, which would include books on theology. I've been concentrating on fiction so far, which does include Christian fiction, however.

I really LOVE your "Conception to Birth" video!! I am strongly pro-life!!! God bless you for posting it!!

I've just become a follower, by the way! : )

    Here's my FF post:

  3. Thanks Shanan! I like it too , it's a pleasure to meet you .

Amy: My boyfriend liked the blue shade too but I don't think I know how to change the color but I'll see...yes I am proud of being catholic although I am not good at it . It's really tough and I am more or less a Jack catholic . Non practicing even though I wish with all that is in me to adhere to Church principles and to Our Lord, I fail miserably , ALL THE TIME.

  4. Hi, again!

Oh, don't worry! We don't have to be perfect! As long as we're trying to do what is right, as well as loving the Lord, we'll be fine!! God loves us!!!!!

And YES, you can definitely snag that wreath!! : )

  9. I am so jealous of your Christmas layout *pouts* it was too late for me to get one done by the gal who did the one I have now. Next year..
I will probably use a Christmas layout I find online if it wont mess up my current layout.
I really like your blog a lot. You have a few great Christmas reads that I am coming back to read your reviews for very soon.

Thank you for following my blog. It means a lot to me. I like meeting new bloggers.

  10. Deal. You keep blogging, and I will too. Thank you for saying I write well (I'm ever so proud of that) but I think it just depends on the person and the context.

And it doesn't matter if you have a set thing you do! Just write what you like, and people will read! Maybe organise it all under tabs: Books, Religion. Anyway, who said a blog has to just do one thing!
